We try and have an exciting and varied program of activities, these are just some of the things we got up. Click here to see what we have been doing

We started the year with a Cub forum to decide what badges we wanted to do

We worked on our cooks badge by understanding food safety issues and improving our knife skills

For our air activities badge we made paper aeroplanes and had competitions with them. We tried some really complicated aeroplanes!

We cooked pizza for our chefs badge.

For our Astronomers badge we learnt about the phases of the moon (that involved eating Orios!)

We created and island to understand contour lines and help with our map reading skills – it was also book week so we made the island of Bryher (“Why the Wales Came”)

We had a relaxing night tonight and watched a film at St Mary’s church. We watched Swallows and Amazons with popcorn

We got out and about and did some orienteering in the country park

For our DIY badge we made bug boxes to learn how to join wood and use woodworking tools safely.

We improved our map reading skills by doing a hike around Ely. For a bit of extra excitement we did it in a rain storm! but we had some amazing chips afterwards.
